Discover MY CREDIT UNION’s heartwarming initiative to bring holiday cheer to families in need. Join us in making a difference by submitting a letter for someone who could use a helping hand this season.
The needs in our communities are great each holiday season! Instead of collecting items for larger national programs, where we don't know where the gifts end up, MY CREDIT UNION started a new tradition in 2019. We ask members to tell us who might need a little help during the holidays.
At a minimum, we strive to fulfill the wishes on at least one letter per branch. However, as we read the letters, we quickly realize we should do more. "Letters to Santa" from MY CREDIT UNION members receive priority over non-members. Once someone has been helped by "Santa," they are no longer eligible in future years, allowing others to receive some Santa sunshine!
Letters can be dropped off in “Santa’s Mailbox” at any MY CREDIT UNION branch locations or emailed to marketing @mymncu.org. “Santa’s Mailbox” will be available in lobbies: from November 25th – December 16th. Winners will be notified on Monday, December 16th. Children and adults of all ages may submit entries. We do not publish the names of anyone receiving support from “Santa.”
